    10 socket and 2 phone/eithernet points. Was €44.99 Now €21.49 in Maplin.
    Has a mains indicator light (red) and a light when protected (green).

    Yeah it's english for the phone. Was in Maplin there in galway and they had at least 8 or 9 on the shelf. Doesn't look the higest of quality but it's got the protection light on it anyway.

    Will buy one on my lunch.

    Half the sockets, no phone connectors, but just €7, a third of the price, in Lidl. Special offer subject to stock. I think the phone line protection is not as important. The Maplin product's phone connectors are likely to be UK type anyway, so not usable in ROI without an adapter (not usually supplied.)
