Right, I think Mr.Plough was next up from this thread, I know DITPoker did one, so I think that's where we left off.

If I've missed someone out let me know and I'll put them up next.

    Same Rules:

There can be NO flaming, this isn't a chance for people to have a shot at who ever goes in. Entrants to the Deconstructing series will have their thick skins on but forum rule breaches will be dealt swiftly and harshly with by a 1 week ban, so you have all been warned.

Just to spell it out: NO PERSONAL ATTACKS, criticise and critique his game and NOTHING else!

Keep it constructive and good luck Mr.Plough.

you should re-raise me when i have aces more! :p

any time i've played against you you've seemed more than competent. i think you play more cash than tourneys and i'd have only ever played tourneys against you (and only a handful at that). The way you play tourneys is in my opinion in survival mode which made you a nice spot to steal from cos you were decent enough to fold but also looking to survive. im basing this on about 3 tourneys months ago and im sure what i say wont make much sense now.

basically, play less rocky in latter stages of tourneys.

that said (again basing this on a sample size of one) in same tourney you were UBER rock until the bubble burst, then you were more than happy to get involved (think you had QQ cracked by some rubbish to get knocked out). had you played two table out the way you did after the bubble had burst you'd have had a mountain of chips...

hope some of this makes sense.

I've played with you in the odd tournament in DCU and maybe once or twice in the jackpot. You were easily one of the better players at these. You do play very very tight and I would never be expecting you to be "at" it very much. Also I would echo what DIT said about when nearing the bubble, you should become more aggressive here.

I've played with you recently enough on ipoker at 50NL and you are unbelievably tight. Your raising range is alot tighter again and its very easy to steal your blinds. I think you should open up your PF game more and become more active and aggressive and try to steal the blinds more with marginal hands. I only have around 1k hands on you but thats what I have noticed.

I'm not sure how you pick your tables but the day I was sitting with you the table was full of nits and I didn't stay long. If you aren't using eyepoker then you should be.

You get bored far too easily.

Your winrate could be much larger if you were to open up preflop. You have the grasp of the game and should be playing as many hands as possible versus these bad players.

    Play live more too.

I started off playing tournys then some cash and now primarily cash. I played a bit in the jackpot last summer which is probably when I would have played you. TBH I played tournys by the book. Rock it up and get it in with the goods which resulted in either running good and getting a decent result or being blinded away and have a beat to annoy someone with which occurred when i was in push or fold mode. I'm pretty confident that I've opened up my tournament game alot since then and If I had a downfall it would be that I may be leaning towards the spewy side rather than the rocky side:D

I was surprised at this tbh as since I started playing at ipoker my first 13k hands I was running at 21/18 or so with att to steal in the 30s. Although In the last while I've been 8 tabling rather than 5 and while its expected I'll tighten up somewhat I do feel I pay less attention to my blinds than I should which I need to work on.

Yep agreed. I've only started using eyepoker in the last 2 weeks

The boredom thing is the main reason why I don't play much live at all. I do get bored quite easily playing at a rate of 15 hands p/hr or whatever but I do intend to play more live once this degrees out of the way this summer when I become a professional bum.

Man I love this rocky image I've gotten

Yeah from a little experience with you, you definitely have a solid game. Am sure I played with you online at some stage, but I don't know.

From live last summer, you have very few leaks. Very solid. Biggest thing I would say was to play position a bit stronger. I'm sure you've sorted this out though.

Oh, and your rocky image was shattered once and for all by me when you bluffraised the river with a busted draw when I thought you knew you had very little FE.... I folded middle 2.... GOD DAMN YOU AND YOUR IMAGE!!!!!:mad::D
