Great run, let's just hope he's sound in the morning as he really belted the 2nd last.

Well done to Tom for getting him back in such good shape. I don't think any of us will appreciate that piece of training, let alone to have him back in such good form. I hope his legs are ok in the morning but touch wood.

    What a stupid post.

It was a really good run today, but let's not get carried away. He was receiving weight against two horses who are not running to their best lately. A great return nonetheless.

He will need another run before Cheltenham to get him right.I wouldnt be rushing in to back him yet.

..... i was veryy impressed,,,he hit the 2nd last hard,,but found momentum and kept going, walsh really had to get stuck in to get nickname up, he is hardly a horse out of form, and had his ground,,he's a stone better on soft ground like that...so all round KK ran veryy well..I agree Greaghty didnt knock him about much and over 2miles1 id say Taffe is delighted....next race will tell all..red mills in Gowran seems a sensible target and get him to Cheltenham in 1 piece and in good form....
Newmill actually ran well too on ground he hates...he's a hard one to figure out...but i think people have overlooked how well he ran yesterday too...anyone have the thyestes winner?...had Black Apalache each way meself..so happy days :)

    ciao' galloping amigos...Baggio.....

it was a bit of a nothing race tho, basically turned into a sprint from 4f out. First time at Gowran, was a bit disappointed, the place was dead - I thought they might have to go round again in the Thyestes - there wasn't one shout from the crowd at the finish ....

There was only going to be one winner coming to the last which was a skinner for most Bookmakers.
