How does one actually purchase tickets?
According to the website the tickets are given to rugby clubs etc, which while great for them... its not good for those who do not actually play.

I love watching Ireland play rugby, i would love it even more to go see them in croke park.
Am i missing something? Apart from tickets of course?

I especially want to see them play a southern team like the all blacks when they come here supposedly at the end of the year.

You dont need to play to join a rugby club, join support you local team and be able to buy ireland tickets Win Win situation :) . Or even better try rugby for a bit and see what you think.

You can join rugby clubs as a pavillion member. Or you could join your provincial supporters club, or the Irish Supporters Club.

There are plenty of avenues for securing tickets.

Hmm... Mullingar rugby club i suppose then :D
I suppose i could play rugby, im just too lazy. I enjoy not having to do stuff at the weekends and commute times just means i can not play during the week.

armchair supporter is the best solution for me.

Just join the club as a pavillion member, go to the bar the odd time, get to know who the ticket dude/dudette is and chat to them the odd time so they get to know who you are, then they see your name on list of people applying for tickets and Bob's your uncle!
