E65 call problems

I bought an E65 in November on Meteor and I've been fairly pleased with it up to now.

However, a problem when making calls has recently cropped up. I press the green button to make the call and then I hear nothing. This happens with both landlines and mobiles. The person who I'm calling sees my call, can answer, but I hear nothing, not even the noise of the connection to the network. Rebooting the phone fixes the problem.

Anyone experienced this before or know of any fixes?

As with any E65 probelm I've heard of so far ... software probably needs updating!

as mel says, try updating the software. If you can't do it yourself, bring it back to where you bought it. If you can't be without your phone for a few days/weeks, bring it to mprc in sandyford and it'll be fixed in 3 hours. You can find them at www.mprc.ie

I'm willing to try updating it myself. I've found an updater application on the Nokia website, so I'll give that a go when I get a chance. Thanks all.

make sure to backup everything first because it'll all be wiped
