Have been thinking about this for a couple of years and have decided that I'd rather be killed by a crocodile.

So which would you rather be killed by?

Which would you rather be attacked, then killed and eaten by? 19 votes

Think if I HAD to die, would have to pick a great white. Itd probably be quicker. If Id rather be attacked by one (no thanks to either) i think id pick the croc, might have a better chance of survival!
OP, I think you have a little too much time on your hands! ;)

Yes, its a croc, alright, a crock of sh1t.

    Or something along those lines.

But to be honest, it'd be cooler to be killed by a Shark.

    Killer whale FTW (or lose).

You know when he tosses you 30ft up in the air, you could shout (your last words), "I can see my house from here!"

    :D

    That's what I was thinking.

You see, I think crocs shake you up and down and submerge you in the water, therefore drowning you before you actually get eaten.

Whereas Great white sharks don't do foreplay.

A killer whale is a dolphin. There's nothing cool about being killed by a dolphin..

A Great White Shark would, generally, do a test bite. Maybe rip off your leg or whatever, then swim off after tasting human blood (sharks don't eat people), leaving you to bleed to death or drown, which could be quite ok

The crocodile attack would be traumatic and you couldn't have a funeral either what with the being devoured...

Amen. Though perhaps an exception is in order in this case.

If it's a funeral you are worried about Kitten, take the croc.

You would have about a 10 day window,as he will take you to an underwater hole in a bank and leave you there for a week or two to soften up.

If you are found before the first week,a funeral is on.

    Open coffin not advisable .

I'd rather be killed by a shark as its faster.

The sheer terror of not being able to swim away fast enough would suck though.

Plus, I reckon I'd be able to give the croc a run for its money

i know it's not an option and like the OP I have way too much time on my hands and have long planned my preferred way to die:
biking down the steepest/most dangerous road in the world in south america
    or
tripping on the laces of my hiking boots while strolling along the banks of the amazon and falling into a school of pirahna fish

other than that would go for the great white shark option, so long as it snuck up on me from behind and got my legs in its mouth, then one chomp, then the rest of me, that wouldn't take long would it?

Poll?? A great white just for the cool factor

Have been down the World's Most Dangerous Road. Couple of steep drops but nothing that wouldn't leave enough time to terrify and draw out the pain. Couple of bumpy edges off them hills/cliffs.

And the pirhana? No thanks. That'd be worse than getting electric shocks continuously minute after minute.

got to be the shark. Chances are, you might survive if the taste test was small enough.

but a croc will eat you. after he has grabbed you and spun you under water a couple of times and drowned you while similtaneously trying to chew your leg off!

    Ok I've added the poll.

Vote even if you've commented already. I'm curious to see what people think.

The OP says you die so chances of survival is irrelevant. I'd go with the shark it's quick, crocs rip apart bit by bit because they can't chew their food.

I'd prefer to be hit across the head with an Atari Jaguar.

+1, if i swam into one of them c***ting things i'd just die of fright, it wouldnt need to bite me.

though the thing about them and crocs is you have to worry about creatures that stopped evolving about a zillion years ago because they decided that they were already as bad assed as they'd ever need to be.

    A great white

I know I would rather be in the ocean with a great white shark than in the same water as a lurking saltwater crocodile

I think you'd have a better chance surviving the croc....not a good one, but better.

Great White. Those things are freakily cool.... and clever too! They know you're in a cage and stare you right in the eye.

Great White FTW. I've read that a bite from a Great White Shark is almost surgical and not as painful as one from a Croc. The Croc's ball game is biting down then rolling and twisting because their teeth cant cut so sometimes all they do is dislocate/break before simply tearing your limbs off. I dunno, that just sounds a lot more painful to me!
