About the late 80s i remember rte showed this british drama that was set in victorian times. One scene in particular sticks in my mind,a husband and wife were argueing and the wife says very loudly to the husband"**** ME,".As far as i remember it was on earin the evening so i was pretty shocked they were broadcasting this at that hour.Does anyone else remember it or know what it was called?I also remember there was an Irish maid in it who got drunk and started singing,A nation once again,.

RTE had (still do judging by the threads in the Tele forum) a habit of showing some of those wartime drama things with a bit of the ol' flesh. One in particular I've been scarred by is the image of this couple sitting up in bed and yer wan with her saggy bewbs!

That would be because RTE don't actually watch their own programming (and rightly so).
I remember them showing the remake of Tarzan complete with dangly bits at lunchtime on a Sunday.
