A friend of mine is looking for a good recruitment agency.

This is not for an administrative position, but for a professional one. He is looking to transition from his current career into a Communications Director type position.

He would like to organize Annual Report publishing, hiring printers and graphic design firms, Manage and spearhead Online content or development, PRess releases, etc.

He's looking for a salary of 60K or over.

    Any suggestions

If there are particular companies that he is interested in, he could do worse that to create focussed cover letters and submit along with a CV to the HR department.

There are always peeps that will have had a bad experience with an agency. Its like any aspect of life it's never 100% smooth 100% of the time.
I've no link to CPL but they too got me my current job. Although it was from the Dublin office.

I'm currently changing jobs and I can vouch for Sigmar in Dublin. I've had two agents doing a lot of leg work for me and I've had two sets of second interviews in the last two days.

I would regard them as being very good, but I'm an accountant and they might just be good with that function.

Thank you for anyone who has given advice. I know that there are some bad experiences.

The reason for this post is to find agencies that deal in Professional positions. An agency is needed because my friend doesn't know all the employers available in Dublin and most job listings don't have salaries stated. The minimum salary of 60K is not only a career need, but also a visa requirement (long story if you don't know about it).

So if anyone has dealt with good agencies that know their contacts and are themselves interested in the applicant's job search, I would appreciate their names.

I would also like to know what your position or career is, to get an Idea of whether we are talking about the same level of profession.
