Samsung Dvd Camcorder - Disc problems... ?

    Trying to upload Dvd from camcorder to laptop for the first time, and of course having problems.... :rolleyes:
    "Finalised" the dvd whilst still in camcorder, as per instructions from nice man at the store, but still it's telling me (computer that is) that it doesn't recognise the data on the dvd.... :confused:
    I'm not very technical (deh!) so any simple advice/instruction appreciated :D
