EDIT: Besides console and PC gamers play on the same MP servers, so platform seems to become a non-issue.

Yeah, you sure about that? I'd doubt it.

PS, you will find some more COD discussion on the xbox forum here too. They organise some games over there too.

That's not correct. However, it is possible to crack the Xbox 360 in order to connect to "PC-only servers" apparently... A friend told me that. Not sure if it's true TBH...

Ive got a bit bored of the pc version and am playing it on the 360 since i got the console for xmas.
Never again will i spend years looking down on console controls.
Ive got used to the pad and am enjoying it more than mouse/keyboard.
Cant believe im saying this but its true.

Ive enjoyed the learning curve of using the pad,ive hit lvl 55 3 times now with prestige mode on the 360 version.
In a lot of ways the 360 version is better,its got more game modes.
Usual pc modes are there playable in 6v6 or 9v9- plenty for cod4 small maps imo.
Then you have team tactical and ground war modes.

Dont get me wrong,ill always be a pc gamer foremost but anyone who dismisses the 360 version because of a pad just need to play it and give it time to get used to.
You will be surprised how good the pad is.

A bunch of us from boards are on everynight making our own party,making private matches and joining random servers as a team,great craic tbh.
