Skype Problem

I have to set up skype for someone. I'm after getting him a cordless phone that doesn't need a PC. But, now he's told me he wants to use a webcam too. If I get him a webcam for his PC and install skype, is it possible to use both simultaneously to contact one person even though the phone doesn't use the PC?
