Just got my new amp a fender Champion 600.It doesn't have an effect loop.So when I use my Digitech reverb pedal it sounds crap.I have a effect loop on my other amp it sound great through the loop But When i Put it straight in to the input jack it sound awful.Im pretty sure the pedal wasnt just made to go through the loop.Just wondering is there any trick out there too solve this.

    Thanks

Reverb usually sounds better in the loop. Same with delay and chorus, and other time based effects.

There's no problem running it in the loop. Don't worry about it.

No the problem is the reverb pedal sounds awful without loop send & return.

That's exactly what I just said....Reverb usually sounds better in the loop.

It's not a problem, there's nothing wrong with your pedal or amp. Some pedals just sound terrible connected to the input, and some sound bad in the loop. Just the way it is. Put it wherever you think it sounds best.

I think he is saying that there is NO effect loop on the amp!

Does the amp not have it's own reverb?

No it actually only has a volume switch thats it.Its a really cool amp it just lacks that bit of reverb i need.I suppose its just the way it is.Cant do much.I know you can buy a pedal for send return effect but its pretty expensive:(
