    Anyone here from the HSE National Ambulance Service who thinks the new uniform is ****e. The high vis is a joke!!!!.

    No but i heard its **** quality and all that, 3 pairs of socks and you have to wear issued socks? wtf? and a white tshirt, how fecking bloody will they get? baseball caps? once again, wtf?

    Sure it probably cant get much worse with the next issue anyway :)

    buzzman, i heard the hi viz's have to be sent back because they dont make the legal grade or something.

    On a sidenote, there is huge unrest growing in NAS, over the uniform and espicially this; http://www.medicineweekly.ie/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=8569&Itemid=53 , rumour has it that siptu are sending out ballot papers for industrial action!!

    We now have the farcial situation where all the new high vis jackets are being recalled. No-one can give us an answer as to why but allegedly we won't have them back for a couple of months, not that it really matters at the moment since the launch of the new uniform has been put back as well.

    Heard lughlinstown ambulance station (the biggest in the country) sent all their uniform back as a protest at the quality and sizing etc... other stations to follow,,,
