OK ... I've been trying to remember this one for some time. Please help.

It was a UK ad for milk (I think).
At least part of the ad was set in a mad scientist style dungeon.
The end of the ad showed a good looking young lady, clad only in a sheet, quickly rise up from a slab, and declare something about the wonderful properties of milk.

I have searched on youtube, but had no success. If I could remember more about the ad, I could probably do better searches.

I think the ad was shown in the late 80's and early to mid 90's ... but I could be wrong.

Does this ring any bells with anyone

Did the girl have two side pony tails?

I'm getting the vaguest of memories, but maybe it's just autosuggestion. :)

Yes. I think so ... wish I could remember more.

I think the punchline of the ad was "milk ... it does a body good" :)

Yeah, I remember that ad, wasn't there a series of those British made milk ads, with the same catchphrase "Does a body good."? They were very creative and clever.

Nope ... that was a good ad though ... the one I'm thinking of is an earlier vintage.

Oh yes, defintely remember that one.

Mad Scientist working on his creation and the doorbell goes and he shouts
    'Igor - Get the door!"
Igor goes off, comes back and the scientist goes ' Who is it?" and Igor goes 'Eeetts the milkman' (in strange humpy transylvanian accent)
    Can't remember the rest though.
The reason i remember it so well is cause we used to shout 'Igor get the door', to one of the lads at the back of the class when someone would knock.
    I think it was 1989.

Thats it! I remember everybody used to saying that line in school, anybody who said "whos that" about anyone got that reply.

The girl at the end looked like she had got an electric shock, hair all over the place.

That's the one ... the scientist needed the milk to restore life to the girl in the sheet.
All I need now is a link :D

Other than youtube ... where else could I look ?

Does anyone remember a similar ad from roughly the same period (late 80's/early 90's) that was for peanuts (Planters?) and also had a mad scientist theme? The mad scientist in it turned into a chimpanzee after drinking some kind of concoction from a big glass beaker with steam coming out of it. The human to chimp transformation effects in it were done really well, it was equal parts unsettling and funny.

Shades of Jekyll and Hyde and Planet of the Apes in that ad

Who was behind those milk ads? Were they sort of public information films? This one and the wooden man one. Wasn't there another later one with the same song from that with a Hansel And Gretal type witch and two children?

A 10 year search for a milk ad!

The dancing wooden man milk ad is one that no-one seems to be able to date, as to when it first appeared. It ran for years on RTE maybe 89/90 onwards. Its on this Scottish ITV break from 1986, good to come across a decent picture quality version as the standalone one thats been up for Years on YouTube is brutal.
