for PSP owners, what are the games to own on it?
I've been thinking about getting one but then I ask myself will I actually use it and I couldn't think of any games I wanted to play on it. I have a DS and I mostly play games like Zelda, Worms, Anno 1701, New Super Mario Bros and a couple of puzzle games.

Are the games on the PSP more of a sit down and play rather than a pick up and go.

Depends really, I own alot of older consoles (PSX,PS2,N64,SNES etc) so the emulators would appeal to me. Plenty of selecton there for a start. Ill use it for watching videos aswell.

I got one on ebay today: Fat PSP, 3.71m33 firmware, 2GB Pro Duo, Headphones and USB cable. Buy it now for €100 incl shipping.

I've owned a Japanese PSP for around 3 years now and it'd be easy to forget it's Japanese - everything works identically, apart from movies I suppose but I've never bought one.

Some of the best games for PSP:
    Loco Roco
    Crush
    GTA games
    MGS: Portable Ops
    Jeanne d'Arc
    Exit
    Powerstone
    Final Fantasy Tactics
    Valkyrie Profile

Loco Roco is the best pick up and play game I've come accross. The rest tend to be more in depth though, but you can put the PSP into sleep mode at any time so it's not really that big a deal.

Patapon looks like it'll be fantastic and is out next month I think. Also of note are the many very good console ports like Pro Evo, Outrun, Tomb Raider, Sega Rally which generally give you close to the same game as the full console version, if you're interested in them on the go.

I bought one when they first came out in early 2005 still works perfectly! I have even gotten movies when flying into the states.
Just need to figure out remote play on the PS3. SOmething to do with needing an update!!

Remote play for PSP and PS3 required PS3 FW 2.10 and PSP 3.72 or greater.
You need to associate your PSP with your PS3 by connecting it to PS3 with USB cable and then enabling "remote play over internet"

Ah yeah i know cheers haven't got the update for the PSP yet, tried doing it already, thought i did have the updates clearly not. Thank you for the help anyway. But i wouldn't be worried about getting the PSP from US, it'll work and if its cheaper all the better! Go for it!
