Bottom screen not working

    My son got his Ds from santa(virgin megastore) and his little sister dropped it on him. The top screen works but the bottom one is showing no pictures only black marks. I rang virgin and they only gave me a number for UK and I have been unable to get through.
    Anyone know anywhere repairs are done?

    Sorry to hear that. If your in dublin these guys here might be worth giving a shout to. Have never heard a bad word said about them, although i havent heard all that much either!

    I'd also be willing to give it a go either sounds like you just need a new bottom screen.

    Does console power on?

    Top screen working?

    Turn on console , turn up volume and click a CM or 2 to the left of the center of the bottom screen( the display screen and touch element are separate hopefully your touch screen is still going). Does it make a noise and top screen change?

    I'd be looking for something in the region of €30 to fix it if its just the screen that needs to be replaced. Sure PM me if your interested or if you know someone who'd give it ago them selves feel free to ask me any questions, I'll do my best to answer them
