    sales is sales is sales.

doesnt matter wht you are selling.

what you need is to have several anchor stories, stories that you can refer back to again and again on what your big wins have been, what your important wins have been, and the sme with your losses, and you need to be able to say what you learned from them, and how they came about.

You need to show them you are enthusiastic, have integrity, and are hungry.

You need to be able to tell them what you know abotu the company you are going to, why them, what makes you you want to work for them, what are the qualities this position needs, and how you fit what they are looking for.

you need to understand the sales cycle and be able to recognize where you are:
    prospecting
    qualifying
    identifying needs
    proposal
    negotiating
    sale
    follow up

and you need to be able to qualify a customer:
    opportunity
    time frame
    budget
    decision makers
    competition

Theres probably a lot of cold calling, so you need to be enthusiastic about doing that (hohoho), and be able to tell them how you deal with rejection.

You have to be able to tell themabout your target market, demographics etc, and be able to instill confidence into them about your ability to forecast, and to hit and exceed target.

you have to be able to tell them what qualities you can bring to the role.
and have some good answers for strength and weakness type questions.

and have plenty of good qeustions to ask them, such as:
    who are your competitors
    what is your USP
what is your most popular type of sale
what length is the sales cycle
what type of people or companies do you target and why
    how do you market yourselves??
what is the companies 5 year plan?
what are the 3 main philosophies that guide this company

if you have all that, youll get the job :)
