Sorry, no Vanessa Kensington, just some pictures of a car with a cool name.

It's a little car called Austin that's languishing outside Johnnie Fox's, and the reason I'm posting these shots is because I actually intended to make a set of three and I'm rather chuffed with them. The only thing that's bothering me is that I wanted more black in the creases on the seat in the third shot, and I'm not too hot on the transition of seat to background. But overall rather happy and think I may just print them  yes indeed, print...

I don't normally repy to these kind of posts but no time like the present eh??

I think they look great, esp love the last one!! They all work well together too.

Wouldn't mind seeing the first photo in b|w though as it kind of is already half way there!

I was just looking at the rest of mine again, wondering what I can get (I'm very very very bored)

They're lovely, they really are.. I love the first one. I wish I'd been more in the zone one the day. I also wish I'd had the film camera. I think I might just have to give the place another go. What say you?

I really like them I must say. Have you tried burning inbetween the seats bit, or even selecting it, feather and play with the levels a little, between each one.

i really like the first one - theres a Cuban feal to the second - nice and creative, as usual

    I really like them all.
The first one is cracking the old dial & switches with the webs lead you right into the focal point.
Second one has great composition again. If I had to be really niggly I'd like the gap in the panelling to be parallel with the top of the frame.
The third one has brillian texture and pattern to it with the subtle reflection of the light showing both the former prestige of the leather and how it has aged.
The muted colours give a really good mood to the shots. I'd be very pleased with these.

I'd rock up to Johnnie Foxes with these mounted in a set & offer them to them. Ask for a free pint and put your name at the bottom... The dark mood suits their interior.

Nice shots indeed, I'd agree with pete1430 comments, first shot excellent, second could be straightened, third ads age and mood to the set.

That's an absolutely cracking set Julie, all of them. If I was going to go out on a limb and be ultra picky, I'd maybe try a bit of burning on the out of focus object crossing the top right of #1 as it's a wee bit distracting

Great set alright, my favourites are the second and third one. I love the colours in the second one. Lovely rusty car :)

    Wow, thanks guys :D

A few points you picked up on - stuff I was wondering about - after much deliberation I decided not to straighten the second shot to line up with the top of the frame - but that's a mood thing so I'll probably cave in! I also plan to try and do something about the bit to the top right of the dial one, maybe burn it in a bit.

I was surprised though, that nobody thought the third didn't belong in the set - it seemed a bit too simple compared to the others.

Another trip to visit there is definitely on the cards - shame I can't go and copy sinead's shot without feeling guilty

I want the open salmon sandwich.. and my scarf back :(

3rd one is simple? I don't think so. I think it works wonderfully with the others.
