Wireless Woes

    Sis got a dell 1521, wireless card wont pck up the router but when the ucb wireless is plugged in it connects no problem. the dell utilit can detect it, just windows can't see it?

    any suggestions?

    If the dell utility detects and connects to the network then windows is not used and it will appear as though there are no wireless networks if you try to connect through Windows ( I think ) .

    Change and use windows utility option.
    Control panel>Network connections>Right click on wireless and select view available wireless networks>Select advanced options on the bottom left>Select wireless network tab and tick the option to again to view available wireless networks.
