Driver Problems

    Where to do start.
I went to copy some Word documents which I had saved in "My Documents" onto a normal CD-R, when I try to click into my DVD/CD-R driver going through "My Computer" I get this message : (E:/ is not accessible Incorrect Function), but when there is something on the disc I can get into the driver no bother.

Then I tryed it on my other driver a DVD-RW driver and I get the same problem, except I can get into the driver but when I go to copy it says "Insert Blank CD). When I have iTunes open.

I can make a CD through that no problem, but it only seems to allow it to work on my DVD-RW drive, only not my DVD/CD-R.

In both cases the disc are being read but then seem to fail, with the green light on the outside of the drive going off.

Anyone have a clue what's wrong, I've opened up my computer checked everything is plugged in and ok and it's seems to be.

Open Windows Explorer (double click my computer)
Right click on the drive E
    Click Properties
    Click recording
make sure the enable recording on this drive is enable.
Also make sure that the disk you are using is a CDR not a DVD as the DVD drive is writing for the same disk
