Is there anything glaringly bad about this laptop and it's price that I'm missing? I'm looking for a laptop for college, and my budget would have been around the €600 mark. With a 12" screen and 4 hour battery life this seems like the perfect option. Is there anything of a similar size which is better value?

    Cheers

Only draw back I can see is that its a 1st generation dual-core pentium D processor, might effect your 4.5 hour projected battery life a bit but nothing to really worry about. Good specs for a good price.

I doubt I'd get many occasions to actually use all of the 4.5 hour battery life anyway. Thanks for the feedback, I think I'll buy it.

Bought it, and after a day of playing with it, I'm very happy! Once all the crap programs were removed, it runs fine. After being on all day its warm, but not hot.

Gameswise its awful, but that wasnt what its for. Plays bf2142 on everything lowest just about acceptably, but for some reason the screen doesnt stretch when its too small for native resolution, it stays in a small box in the centre instead.

Emulators have ran fine so far, but I havent tried any lower spec PC games yet. Id definitly reccommend it as a portable work laptop.

Sound is good too, and a nice sharp picture.
