Ideas for holiday in summer 2008. Somewhere not too hot, just nice and warm. Relaxing for me yet lots of sight seeing and tourist attractions etc.. for my boyfriend??

If he's into footy, Austria and Switzerland in the summer are the places to be.

Barcelona, in May? Myself and my boyfriend went there two years ago and had a great time. Weather was nice, but not too hot. Lots of tourist attractions, easy to get around and see things, plenty for a football fan in the Nou Camp as well. We stayed in a lovely hotel called the Hotel Barcelona Princess, it was in a dodgy area but right beside the tram and the city tour bus departs from right outside the hotel door. Hotel was really lovely, two swimming pools, including one on the roof! It wasn't too dear either. Flights were pricey but other than that the holiday was good value for money.
