    Hot off the Press:-

I am proud to announce that the IPSA (Irish Practical Shooting Association) has been recognised by the IPSC (International governing body of practical shooting) as the "Most Improved" Region in the practical shooting world for 2007. An accolade that all IPSC shooters in Ireland should be very proud of. This award is due to the hard work of the IPSA committee and all those shooters/ambassador's who travel internationally to compete in IPSC
    matches.

Please see attached link from the IPSC website:

well done to all IPSC shooters nationwide !!

While we are continuing to make ourselves known in the competitive IPSC Pistol world I would like to make you aware that we will soon be starting practical shotgun. We are also hoping to send some IPSC rifle shooters to Norway this summer to compete in their first IPSC rifle match. Added to all this is the fact that a lot of clubs nationwide are expressing an interest in IPSC shooting. 2008 should be a very exciting year for IPSC shooting in Ireland.

    regards,
    Pat
