Hi, my father got a new phone so i am trying to register it online so that he can claim the upgrade credit. I've been trying since saturday ant keeps saying that they are unable to register it at the moment and to try again later. Has anyone else had problems with this???

the o2 website is diabolical. you'll just have to wait. you can do it over the phone but then you get less credit

The O2 website sometimes has some problems with certain numbers registering. Ring customer care and ask them to help you create an account on the website.

if its an upgrade phone then 99 times out 100 hes already got an online account that just needs a password for as he would have registered originally in store or with customer care, you cant register a phone number twice on the site so just ring 1747 and get them to reset the account or give him a new password, ive done this literally 500 times since christmas for customers, why people bother registering then using a password theyll only forget ill never know, just use the same one as you use for your email or something

Go into a shop and get them to do it via their own online system. you get the full whack that way and it is much more reliable than the website. :)

Not anymore, if it's registered through the stores system, it's the same as going through customer care. It's been that way since about October.
