No NTL - MMDS Area ?

    Hi,

I have been trying to subscribe to the NTL analog service since 03/12/07 and have been batteling to get a technican out to my house since then, I have made over 40 logged phonecalls and been promised a call back etc. (rather than go on about NTL's amazing customer service, a couple of questions I need answered)

Finally they have told me that NTL is not available in my estate (Moyglare Hall, Maynooth) and that I should go to SKY. I was advised last night that I am in a MMDS area and that analog is not available, despite my friend living in the SAME estate just up the road is able to avail of the basic package. I was told that their digital service would not be available either. (After previously being told it was by the same 'knowledgeable' NTL goon)

Is this possible ? It is a new area and I was never advised of this before and thus was never given an answer in ANY of my phonecalls to the company that the service could not be availed of.

    Suggestions please.

Pm me your address and I'll have a look. Its possible in new housing estates that your road hasn't been switched on yet. But if your living there a while it could be something else wrong. One other thing have a look out at the footpath outside or near your house for a NTL/UPC manhole.
