I rented a movie from iTunes today, and am having the same problem I have with all video from iTunes; it plays crappily when I maximize it to either fill the screen or the iTunes window. Why is this? (works fine on iPod, but I'm not about to watch a two hour movie on a two inch screen).

I am having a similair problem with itunes and purchased tv-content. For the first day or two it played fine when maximised - but now when I maximise it to full screen the actual video content remains in a box in the centre of the full screen. I no longer can maximise it to have black border and letter box film content in the centre (without it being the size of a postage stamp). Gone through all itunes settings also quicktime settings and cant find where the fix to it is.

You can only Rent Movies if you have an iTunes US Store account.

I have another question, if you rented it and it worked fine for 2 days, that means your removed the DRM because when you rent a movie with iTunes, once you start watching, it deletes itself after 24 hours, unless you crack it and remove the DRM, which may be what is causing the issue your having.

If you are talking about a movie that you have PURCHASED from iTunes, and your having this issue, try uninstalling all Apple Software from your Computer, open Control Panel, click Add/Remove Programs and remove the Following:

    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support
    iTunes
    Quicktime

Then download the latest iTunes and Re-Install them. The above process will NOT delete any of your music or movies, only the Apple Software from the PC.

If your still having a problem, check out the iTunes store support site:

    www.apple.com/support/itunes/store

If you cant find anything to help you there, e-mail them!!
