Microsoft Internships?

    Hey,

Just wondering if anyone here has done one of these internships before?

It's with microsoft, and the location I've applied for is Redmond. Don't think I had the option to apply for Silicon Valley... which seems really cool!

So I'm still in the dark with regards my chances of being accepted. They say they take on up to 10 students from each Irish College, so I think my chances are good considering the low numbers in Computer Engineering in Trinity. I'm in 3rd year now so thats the prime year to be recruiting interns...

If I dont get this I may end up staying in Ireland for the summer which I really dont want to do! I dont want to go along with my mates on the J1 in case I get accepted for this...

    Any info/experience?
    Thanks

MS Uk and MS USA are very different operations.

M450 apply for other companies in the valley. Lot's around. The internship should be great especially since if you do well they can sort a visa out in advance otherwise you have to stay in limbo for a year which sucks.
