I have that exact lamp and i cant fault it power wise!
Had a small problem with the fuse in it, and it tended to heat up and melt the plastis arround the plug! got a better fuse and stronger wires and seperated them and now its back to its full glory!! Great piece of kit when its in full flight!! Would advise you get a filter for the lamp, if your in an area where the foxes are lamped alot!! Just makes them stand those extra few seconds for you to get the shot off!!

Great lights the Blitz, though I hate using one if it's windy.

I prefer the scope mounted lights myself.

cheers big man. will look out 4 that one. using a clulite at min. good wee lamp 2 but just fancy more power. have red filter ordered for it 2. lot of trigger happy shotgun shooters round here who tnk a shotgun will kill at 100 yards so foxes are pretty educated. usin .243 also so not many escape.

I've a 170 Striker Lightforce for my .223, watched foxes out around 400 yards quite clearly (looking away from me) through the Nightforce. Had a few lamp shy foxies here myself and I cleared them up with that set up. With a .243 I'd be looking for a new address if I was a fox up your way.

Edited to add, scope mounted, but I use it as handheld until I spot foxy.

i find the red filter really cuts the light down, i now use a blue one find it much better. the fuses are the only problem i came across other than that a great lamp.

Although, you can get a new Blitz shipped from Australia on Ebay for just over 100 Euro.

They are a great lamp, but the cigarette lighter plug lets them down. Its an easy fix though
