    does anyone know of any websites where you can search for information on albums? like, type in the name of the album and your given the record label, producer, engineer etc

    discogs is an excellent site but I always thought that it was only for Electronic music, but just had a look their and it does all sorts.

    It's great for picking up rare vinyl in their Marketplace section.

    It's also a great place to catalogue all the music that you own and once done you can print off an excel sheet with all the details.
