It's probably some generic ata that broadtalk customised - see if you can find any model info on it in the admin interface through your browser or on the box itself and do a search on google.

Sometimes the supervisor credentials get leaked online, sometimes its possible to 'trick it into updating' the firmware from a source other than the broadtalk servers.

Successfully unlocked an American Lingo box myself a while back and have been using with the mysipswitch ever since without issues.

Is there a seial/model number on the ata itself?

When you go into the management application through your browser is there any information there about the model, firmware?
