Places to get loft on irons checked?

As the new season is slowly cranking up I've decided that before I look at booking lessons up in Carton, that I'll get the lofts & shaft lengths in my irons checked before the Carton pro ridicules my swing and starts implementing loads of changes.

Is this a service that Carton offer and if so, would I be better served getting it done elsewhere as Carton may prove to be expensive? What other places offer this service?

Shane o Grady, Black Bush has a good facility for doing it, and resonably priced too

Before you go making too many changes why not take your first lesson and ask the pro about the clubs. You might have the wrong ones for you and theres no point spending money getting them adjusted if it would be better to get a new set.
The pro at whatever range should and would advise on this without yop having to worry about being ridiculed. Walk away if they take that attitide.

If you need to get the clubs adjusted there is a fellow over in Red Lane Golf near Naas who does that work.

    Thanks lads.

Ratem - that's the approach I was thinking of taking. Carton is right on my doorstep but may a bit pricey if I was to go the whole route of

    a) checking if clubs were right for me
    b) checking if lofts need to be corrected
    c) lessons for the new season

Then again, perhaps not. No harm ringing them and seeing if they will give me a discount if I was to go with them for all of the above.
