Planet-rugby havn't got a report up yet but I see trimble and bowe got trys, bowe getting a brace.

Did the two of them have a good game overall?

I thought Tommy Bowe has an outstanding game today scored two tries and made Trimbles one as well. Trimble also played well. The rest of the Irish players had solid to goo performances, both Bests (Rory played pretty well after his layoff - good news if Fla is on the sidelines for a while), Wallace and even Boss turned in better performances than they have been recently.

Encouraging signs that Williams is beginning to turn around their fortunes, not good news for Connaught though.

Yeah, Ulster did well. Much better than they've been in recent times. I too fear for my 'beloved' Connacht! If Ulster can manage to play a few games like that in the Magners League, Connacht will never keep pace with them.

I saw extended highlights - thought uslter did play well but were mostly capitalising on Glouscester's mistakes. thought boss played well his move and pass to bowe for a try was great.

didnt see this in the highlights but i see reports had wallace missing 3 fairly easy pens.

Watched the game - best game I have ever seen from Bowe, he is now looking for work and his passing/ rugby brain has improved immensely - his defence has also improved with one great tackle on the Volcano. Trimble also played well while Wallace remains a turnstyles in defence and missed some easy kicks!!

It was a very good game, Bowe did indeed put on a good show.
