    I wanted to post the bands I've seen in concert live, all of them, hopefully people will do the same....the good and the bad....warts and all;

    Our Lady Peace, Avril Lavigne, The Darkness x3, Linkin Park, Metallica x3, Machine Head x2, The Supersuckers, Planes Confused with Stars, The Ataris, Everytime I Die, Chimaira x3, David Lee Roth, Fireball Ministry, CKY, God Forbid, Shadows Fall, Taking Back Sunday, Fightstar, Trivium, As I Lay Dying, Bleeding Through, Killswitch Engage, Slipknot x2, Lost Prophets, Kid Rock, Hatebreed, Mastodon, Slayer, Ocean Colour Scene x2, Pink, Faithless, The Saw Doctors, The Hothouse Flowers, Muse, Ash, Black Eyed Peas, Diamond Head, Megadeth, HIM, Mundy, The New York Dolls, The White Stripes, Peaches, The Datsuns, Velvet Revolver, Guns N Roses x2, Simple Minds, Jimmy Barnes, Sebastian Bach x2, Bullet for My Valentine x2, Lauren Harris, Stone Sour, Bloodsimple, W.A.S.P, 10 Lives, Alice in Chains, Avenged Sevenfold, Wicked Wisdom, New Found Glory and Green Day

    Bands Ive Tickets to See;
    Dropkick Murphys + support, Velvet Revolver + support, Def Leppard/Whitesnake/Black Stone Cherry and Sonata Arctica

    When I was 16 I made a dream list of the bands I wanted to see before I died, a kind of stupid thing I wrote in school, including bands at the time whose lead singer had died (Alice in Chains) and who hadnt played together in over 30 years (New York Dolls). Those bands are listed in bold. To my amazement, since 2003, Ive managed to see every band on the list minus one and in June of this year I travel to Glasgow here in Scotland to fufill that list and see Def Leppard.

    I shouldn't bother cos it's nowhere near as long as I wish it was but here we go..

    Peter Green (and Splinter Group), Boyzone, Westlife+Samantha Mumba (it was free - don't ask!), Goo Goo Dolls, Queen+Paul Rodgers, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Mundy, Kaiser Chiefs, The Fratellis, The Blizzards, Ash, Republic of Loose, Director, Paddy Casey, Franz Ferdinand, The Editors, The Rakes, Kanye West, Laura Izibor, Royseven.

    Can't think of anymore. I'm going to Plain White T's in a week and hopefully I'm gettin tickets to Bruce Springteen. Really p1ssed that I didn't get Spice Girls tickets (and they're not coming to Ireland!). Also wanted to see Dolly Parton and loads others this year...:(

    Hopefully The Eagles will come here to tour their new album and I'll get tickets for that.

    Wow, I know a guy who is a fan of Biffy Clyro but I dont think hes seen them as many times as that, in fairness a lot of people in Ireland have seen them because theyve played here quite a bit - headline, festivals and support - plus they supported The Who when Velvet Revolver dropped out last Aug. Thank god I never got my ticket for that one as I wouldve been going solely for VR. Plus they play a few venues everytime, not just Dublin, so you can travel easily to see them.

    well i guess it was kind of a shock to me as they were scotland's best kept secret until last year. it's true they do travel a lot when they come here which can't be said for a lot of UK bands.
