Experience with Laptopsdirect.ie?

    Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with laptopsdirect.ie. The reason I ask is because I fear their prices are too good to be true. This may have sonmething to do with a 20% off January sale though.
    I'm thinking of going with this sony vaio which as far as I can tell is a great price: http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Sony_VAIO_FZ21S_VGNFZ21S.CEK/version.asp
    The only catch I can see is 15pounds for shipping. Again not too bad in my opinion.
    So is laptopsdirect a safe and trusted source?

    I bought a laptop off them a year ago. No problems at all. The only worry is that if something goes wrong with it, its not very easy to send it back as there based in the UK

    All I'll say is that the company has been very underhanded here on Boards.ie.

    They signed up several accounts, some to help out, some to pretend they were satisfied customers.

    Some have had good experiences (myself included), some have had some farcical experiences. Truth be told, you could say that about any online retailer.

    I have purchased of them a few times and don't have any major gripes with them, delivery used to be a bit slow but that appears to have improved recently.

    I recently have had reason to use their returns department, my initial impressions are not great but it is too early in the process to be too damning. I will post updates on my experience here as things progress.

    I bought a telly and a laptop from them within the last 3 months. No complaints. Their delivery was very quick too: ordered telly on Tue evening (after 5pm) and attempted delivery Thu afternoon. Laptop was delivered within 3 days. Haven't tried returning anything.
