Hey people!

Just wondering are there any musicians out there looking to add a bassist to their band or create something new?

I've been playing Bass for 7/8 years and have all sorts of gigging and recording experience. I also sing a good bit...

I'm not too picky but I'd love to start up something fresh - Be that Indie in the vein of Kings of Leon, Interpol, Weezer, Arcade Fire or even Muse - Or something more math/post rock e.g. Battles, Sigur Ros, !!! etc...

Bassically I'm looking to create some interesting, snappy, listenable music with a view to doing up a very decent EP and start the road to releasing stuff (which I have a good bit of experience with). I want enthusiastic musicians!!! Happy enough to join something good or start afresh!

Hey whats up? We're a band looking for a bassist.There are two guitarists and a drummer (age 22,22,18) at the minute and we really desperately need a bassist!We're writing original material at the minute.We mostly play rock...including (but not limited to) GnR,Velvet Reolver,Led Zeppelin,Thin Lizzy and of course Muse. We looking for bass player have been doin covers for 3 years bass but are now writing original material and need bass player asap as our old one moved down the country..based in dublin and rehearse twice a week..mad to give it a major go with new material and want major imput from all band members...get in touch now..danscrup@hotmail.com...we need u now!!!!!!

We are looking to get a new bass player in on the act.We have played every major venue in Dublin, Whelans,Village,Crawdaddy etc.Need a bass player to get back on the road. We need you!!! we've just had our bassist bail, and we've got a bunch of shows booked here and in the U.k, possibly Belgium too. Our stuff varies somewhere between rock, blues,ska and a little metal i suppose. Bass is my fave part, so someone really strong is important

You - Loads of enthusiasm. Creativity - a must! Prepared to rehearse every week.

Us - 1 Dub1, Nordie, 1 Italiano, so far ... Playing for 2 years – so, we’ve lots of songs.

Sound - People say we sound like garage/pop punk/emo. We’ve been compared to Nirvana, the Velvet Underground, Stone Roses, the Undertones. Not bad, eh?

Influences - apart from the above, we like Artic Monkeys, Elbow, Kings of Leon, Queens of the Stoneage, CAN, Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails etc. etc

eclectic rock band based in sounth dublin looking for bassistwith a wide variety of musical tastes.,
our main influences include bloc party, ryan adams, muse, the libertines,bright eyes, my morning jacket, the strokes
a mixture of alll these bands would be what i would decribe what we play.
we've been playing together in one form or another for over a year and have played between 15- 20 gigs. we're all between 18 and 22.we have our own practice space and equipment.

Hey! I'm in a band based in Dublin 15. At the moment theres two of us; we're both guitarists, singers and songwriters. We're aged 20 and 21.We're meeting up with a very positive drummer in a week so now we need a bassist to complete the band! We've only been together a month or two but we've recieved an incredible response to our songs which we uploaded onto youtube! Some of them have over 1000 views already! We have excellent amps, 2 fender strats and recording equipment (a BOSS R360). I don't really know how to describe our music that well so its best just to listen to it! Heres one of our tunes;
