    Hi, all.

Can anyone please tell me where you can buy white wedding shoes? There doesnt seem to be a good collection anywhere and the big day is looming closer for the Bride and shes pulling her hair out she cant find anything she likes!

    Thanks

imo there isnt a great selection generally, most wedding dress shops also supply shoes, next also does a small selection. bear in mind that usually only the toe of the shoe is visable so go more for comfort rather than style. (she will be on her feet all day) and you wedding day is not a day for feeling the pinch of new shoes. the shoes are every bit as important as the dress, as the height of the heel needs to corespond with the lenght of the dress and any alterations that might be needed. it is worth paying a bit for a good comfy fit. if all else fails some shoe shops can arrange for the shoes to be dyed/covered, but allow good time for this.

dunno what the selection is like at the moment but I got mine in Debenhams when I was getting married. I also got them in the sale so they were 12.84...sure how often do you wear white shoes!!!
Hope she finds shoes she likes!

One company seem to have the monopoly on wedding shoes!!

    http://www.rainbowclub.co.uk/Rainbow-Club-Brand.htm

They sell them in Cinders, De Stafford, Lantz and a few other places.
They might not be that glam, but they ARE comfy - which is very important IMO!

Anyhoo - you don't really see your shoes!

Next do a few pairs in their shoe department.

depending on the style of dress, think about the following options for shoes:
    grey,silver,pink,champagne!

I hate the wedding shoes available at the moment.but when I looked at other pale colours,I found there was a lot more choice.Any time I've been into a shoe shop,I look at anything remotely pale in colour.I havent bought any yet though because I cant make up my mind, lol!

I wish I was wearing a white dress so that I could get these shoes!!

I have them in purple and they're soooo comfy!

But obviously they won't suit girls who like big heels, which I don't.

If only we could swap! They have BEAUTIFUL high ones in ivory, but I can't wear high heels! If they had the white ones in high heels and the ivory in low it's be perfect!!

personally I think the 'wedding' shoes are quite expensive and some of them are soooo plain.
Dolcis and faith both do shoes in ivory, white various shades in between, standard 'court' style and more glam ones, sandals etc.
Dune also do some nice ones.
For the cheaper end, priceless shoes do copies of the Dune and Dolcis ones (http://www.pricelessshoes.co.uk/en/womens-shoes/wedding-shoes/ ) they are quite cheap, and you could always get them and give them a dry run. If they kill you then they didn't break the bank I suppose.

I got mine in next - ordered online 2 styles, took them home, wore them with socks over them to protect the soles(!) and gave them a try. I was able to return the pair I didn't want and got a full refund. They were less than €100 were really comfy and I have worn them since with a black and cream outfit, and another time with a black corsage on the front - they are not obviously 'wedding shoes'.

Failing ALL that, if you are based in Dublin there is a shoe repair place in the Pavilions in Swords that covers shoes, so you could cover a comfy pair you already have.
