    Hi all,

Ok so I'm having a bit of a crisis trying to decide what laptop to buy and was hoping you guys might be able to help.

My biggest problem is that I don't know what I want. The two I have in mind are completely different.

The first is the new Toshiba A210-11P. It looks beautiful, the specs are all round pretty good, graphics are amazing and price is €999. Its a 15"er.

The second is the Hp tablet notebook tx1300 (can't remember the exact model). Again specs are good, all apart from the graphics they seem to be on par with the tosh. Although it does come in slightly more expensive at €1149. It s a 12"er.

Now this is where the problem is. I would be happy with either of these. Although tosh pulls ahead due to the lovely graphics card. But I'm not too sure about the Hard drive. Granted its a whopping 200gigs but its only 4200rpm. And thats kinda slow....

The Hp is little, and pretty and cool. And if I were to take wanting a graphics card out of the picture I would probably go for it straight away.

So as you can see, I'm one indecisive baxtard. My question to you is, has anyone had experiences using drives this slow? Or have any of you owned/used these laptops?

    Any comments/advice would be cool.

    Cheers,
    euph

I would go with Toshiba, heard lots of problems with HP laptops but nothing about Toshiba, I've had mine 16 months, so far so good. If you are getting a laptop read how you should treat the battery, mine is brutal now as I used to let it die and now I hear they don't like that sort of treatment.

    Tell us what you decide.
