Some may have heard rumors about a school for Autism in Balbriggan.
    Well, its all true.
We, The North Fingal Autism AND Aspergers support group have been stalking the dept of ED for a while now trying to get a unit set up.
As it is children with Autism living in Balbriggan, Skerries, rush ,lusk have to go to either....Drogheda or, portmarnock or worse still Donnycarney.
Hours of traveling for a 4 year old.
So we are working hard at this.I have sent a letter to the Commission for school accommodation to ask for clarification on wording in their report that one will be here by SEP 08.
Watch this space, cross your fingers , say a prayer.
    Cathy
