Gmail is very good and free. heres a guide http://www.marthas-web.com/gmail.htm
Edit...dont use hotmail. They will charge you for the privilage of forwarding your emails. Yahoo can be set up too..http://www.scrippy.com/help/mail/yahoooe.htm
but gmail has a better service. more storage, less spam etc

well lads it works cheers :)

i was using incomming as imap.gmail.com as i was instructed off some website , prob for american users or something

so i set it to pop on gmail settings and in outlook and incomming as 465 and outgoing as 995 instead of 993 as stated on that site

well its working and its so much better than opening and logging into account
