Going To Billund,Denmark

    Flying into Billund,got a cheapflight...

    Just wondering if anyones ever been there, also keep in mind thet when im heading over Legoland is going to be closed,

    Is one better off staying in a different town nearby, or is Billund actually a hive of activity???

    Nearby towns would include Vejle and Aarhaus (sp?)

    I cant give any infomation on Billund unfortunately, but i was in Aarhus last August for an Ireland match and had a great time. Its a pretty little town and i found the people to be extremely friendly. I spent an afternoon walking around the forest area on the coast which was lovely, plus it has a decent nightlife due to the large student population there. Lots of good resturants and bars there too. Being in Denmark, it not cheap, however the two nights i spent there didnt hurt my wallet anywhere near as much as i feared it would.
