Cd burning problem - need on-site help!

    Hi guys

    Got a Dell Inspiron 1501, windows xp, recently however only tried to burn a cd this week but no joy. Similar to the problem in this thread http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055162833&highlight=burning

    Anyway, I tried following those instructions and deleted the necessary from HKEY etc etc. Anyway, I've managed to disable the d: drive now it seems.

    Using Roxio for burning. I'm lost and my patience with computers is poor, to say the least due to previous laptop issues.

    Just wondering if anyone knows who might do a call out service for a reasonable price in the Dublin area who might be able to solve my problem?
