A few from Prague (C&C)

Was over in Prague at the weekend (thought it was lovely!) and got a few decent-ish shots. I was hampered somewhat by the lack of a fast wide-angle lens (and no tripod), so I couldn't even try to get some of the shots I wanted, and inside dimly lit churches I had to use the 50 1.8.

    Anyway, any comments, criticisms or suggestions welcome;

Not bad. However I am not a huge fan of "visible HDR".

By the way, I like your sig ;)

Not too bad, I was there last year and brought a 30d with a 10-20 and a 30mm f1.4 which seemed to fit into Prague and wasnt too bulky to carry around..

That must have been a great guitar solo...
    Best composition.

Great shots and reminds when I was there a little while back. Some unusual shots from the usual location which is nice too.

Now that reminds me, I must arrange the camera club gtg for Prague!!

How coincidental... I'm to Prague tomorrow with my 400D!

It seems you got decent weather - my forecast is for rain, instead of the snow I was hoping for.

    Those are some nice shots.
I love the long shot of the stained glass window (though it could maybe use some straightening).

I was forcasted to get rain too, but it was clear blue skies all the way - although that did mean a rather amazing cold! Best of luck though on your visit, even if it rains too much to take many pics, the city is lovely.

Anyway thanks for the various comments, it's always nice to know a few people have a look at them at least! There's a few more on the flickr *shameless pimp* if anyone's interested

Do I see dust on 1 and 3? Nice shots, love the building interiors.

No. 1 needs more work to mate the sky with the building more naturally.
Other than that you've got great detail in the masonry.

I quite like No.2. More contrast perhaps?

3 & 4 have nice composition. Love the colour in 3 and 4 just makes me dizzy.

    5 I agree with Borderfox :D

6 needs a little free transform distortion in PS to straighten those lines on the right.

7 is my favourite. Lots of lovely detail there!

Thanks for sharing, Dades the pressure is on!

I wish! Not travelling any more. :(
Bit of a family issue has come up, nothing too serious, but have decided to stick about as a precaution.

Looks like the botanic gardens instead!

(Sorry abelard didn't mean to hijack your C&C). As you were...
