Sony Handycam dcr-sr52 quality of recordings

    Hi,

    A friend of mine just got a Sony Handycam dcr-sr52 HDD camcorder. I was thinking about getting sane one myself but when I saw the quality of recordings I started hesitating.... The quality is way way lower(even in HQ recording mode) than on my DCR-TRV325 Digital8 camcorder.

    Can anyone explain why?
