B&H Shopping List - Advice Please

OK, I'm off to New York next week, and paying a visit to B&H. I've got a rough list of what I'm going to buy, and just looking for advice - is this the right stuff to get, and what else should I get, am I missing anything?
Currently shoot with Nikon D50, have the kit lens, and 2 zoom lenses from the old F75 I had before. Looking to take a lot of landscapes this year, and also do a bit of portrait/family stuff.
Shopping list so far (prices in USD):

Nikon Normal AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D Autofocus Lens - 115
Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6D EX DC HSM AF for Nikon - 499
Hoya 52 mm Introductory Filter Kit - (UV), Circ. Pol., Warm. - 50
Tiffen 77mm UV Protector Glass Filter - 31
Tiffen 77mm Neutral Density (ND) 0.6 Glass Filter - 39

Am I on the right track with the filters? For landscape in Ireland what other filters should I get? Is 0.6 ok, should I get more? Any colour grad that's good for Irish situations?
    Thanks for any advice!

Well at least you know what you want before you go. this is good because when you go in there for the first time it is easy to get bamboozald with everything in there. It really is nuts the set up they have over there. Sigma 10-20 is on my wish list as well.

    Hmmmmm B&H

What I'd suggest is popping in there a day or two before the big shopping day, getting a catalog and scanning over it in the comfort of your hotel. That way you'll know exactly what you want to buy and can cut out all the madness of running around the shop like a lunatic.

I'd nearly suggest getting a cokin p series filter kit and a whole load of grads, neutral density filters and other mad stuff.

Good idea but 1) I have limited time in NY as its a work trip and 2) I'll be staying with friends and won't have much free time to be going in twice!

Re the cokin kit, I take it that entails a filter holder to fit the particular lens, and you just slide the filters in as needed? Excuse the ignorance, I've only used threaded UV and polarizing filters before...
    What grads do you suggest?

it's a three part thang... filter holder ring screws onto the lens, filter holder clips onto the ring and the rectangular filters slip into grooves in the holder.

I'd get some neutral density filters anyway.. a selection that you can stack possibly. Maybe also a few graduated nd's for landscapes and such. Take a browse here - http://cokin.com/ico3-p0.html to see whats available

Has anyone compared the Tokina 12-24mm f/4 to the Sigma 10-20,, f4-5.6 ?

Both cost the same in B&H

Really enjoy using the SB600 - bounce flash will do wonders for pretty much any scenario. And the AF illuminator is superior to the AF light on the camera body (it works with non-centred focus points too!)

Getting a tripod? - useful for portrait and general photography (I'm beginning to sound like someone working on commission from B&H! :D)

Have a tripod already, but you're doing a good sales pitch alright! :D
