Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section but I'm seeking advice on how best to go about procuring a 5 figure bankdraft/cheque etc to purchase a car from the UK. Any tips on which bank is cheapest?

    Thanks in advance!

There isn't really that much difference in the rates realistically though, but just ring around the day you want to do it to see who can offer the best.

Get the nett cost i.e. include all commissions, charges etc.
No idea if they are any good or not but also try www.currency.ie
Thye advertise as the best rates in town but never used them and haven't heard anything about them.
If anybody has used them, would be interested in hearing how good/bad they are.
