PC to PS3

I'm pretty chuffed that the ps3 reads divx files but I have recently found that it doesn't have all the codecs for quite a lot of divx videos.

Rather than me having to convert the file and then burn to cd or transfer to flash card I was thinking that as I have wired up the ps3 to my pc upstairs anyway through etherenet, wouldn't it be just easier for trghe pc to send the signal to the ps3 which would then go to the tv.

I've seen a couple of things regarding streaming games but really I'm just looking at movies.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Stu
