Philips 26" PFL5322

Hi all,

I have found a good sale deal on Philips 26" PFL5322 going for €549

I want 26" for a specific purpose

I plan on connecting my PC (bid DVI to HDMI), PS3 (via HDMI) and Xbox 360 (via component, I have older premium which does not have hdmi port)

Has anyone any views or experience with these sets. For €549 it seems like a good deal

I've got the 5522 which is essentially your model with a Digital Tuner also.

I'm very happy with the set - I use it for 1080p with the PS3 and find the image quality excellent. I amn't entirely sure that the set has the pixel requirements to meet 1080p but none-the-less when the ps3 is in 1080p mode the screen displays 1080p.

My one cost €599 a few months ago from Arnotts, and I think for the sake of the extra €50, if you could find the one with the digital tuner it would be well worth your while: I'm currently receiving the Irish DTT trial, and the quality is quite high. It must be said when I'm viewing UPC analogue, the image quality isn't the highest...could be down to the wiring in my house, but it looks fine on a CRT set when plugged into the same outlet my LCD is in...

I will check for tuner but am limited as a I am using a credit note for a particular store!!:rolleyes: long story

TV is not the primary use for this TV anyway its PC and consoles so Tuner may not be that big a deal.
