Central locking problem

Hi,

Have a problem with my 98 primera slx.
the central locking will not LOCK from the remote fob.
it will however unlock from the fob.
if i lock the car with the key the fob will unlock it but will not lock

any ideas?

it might be an idea to try to explain the problem clearly

Battery in the remote could be dead

Try reprogramming the keyfob, I've sent the instructions by PM.

My bad orig post edited,

battery not dead lights all flash once when i press the LOCK button on the fob
