hi all been in contact with my old mates form my last job and he said id be better going up to the store and seeing who wants to play. before i go up tmnrrw evening i want to know who intrested and who not. is this a mixed match. well i need to know whos up for it before i go to the trouble of organising it. venues would either be in oscar trainer pitches or behind the uci complex. Any body intrested in going alsaa for a bit of shooting practise on sat or sunday afternoons. something to do before the main match. get to know each other a bit. well let me know asap who wants to play. and since iam organising it its mixed as i say there be one or 2 women wanting to play in woodies. well the more players we get the moresubs we can have on a rol on roll of basis every body WILL GET A GAME if they turn up.

So the prep for the boards GAA v Soccer begins against non-league woodies diy, hopefully we can avoid defeat in this potential banana skin.

They have some good players so it doesn't look likely that we'll mop the floor with them.Played one or two matches with them when they were stuck for numbers. Its probably best that this match takes place on 9th/10th Feb or 16/17th as we'll be having a challenge match in St James Gate on 3rd February.

A win would do nicely but this match should primarily be concerned with getting the team together and getting to know everybody.I've played in matches where everybody didn't know their team-mates when the opposition did and it can very well be the deciding factor.

Thats why we need these matches so that we can come out of the soccer match versus the soccer forum with a respectable performance and result.

so that 2 confirmed well some of the good players have moved on like myself from woodies but i be going up to teh store later so need a defo date that is all ok with you lot. prob the 16th of feb be a good date to play. it be after 6 though dont think the manager would let them get off for it. we see how it goes. if we confim the date at least they can ask for time off that sat. well i let you know how i get on later tonight.

St. James' Gate play in the Iveagh Grounds in Crumlin. It's about 10 mins drive from the city centre. You can grab the 19, 19A or 122 I think from Dame street and it drops you off either right outside of just at the corner. Crackin pitches there. Used them for three years in college though the grounds people can be w*nkers about who plays on it.

The 19 and 19A dont go there, I know, I live up the road. The 122 does, the 56A, 77, 77A, 150 and 151 stop outside. Its 5 minutes walk from the Childrens hospital.
