Scope Mounts

    Hi All,

    I have a scope I want to mount to my rifle, the tube diameter is 1 inch and the rail is 20mm wide, could anybody advise on where would be the best place to get mounts to suit, I'm in dublin.

    the rail is 20mm wide

    Standard Picatinny/RIS/RAS rails are 20mm

    no i mean it thought the scope rings were for a 25mm rail.


    iv never had a scope so i dont know

    the diameter of the scope will be 25ish mm give or take a little bit, the rail mount will be 20mm and the rail it sits on will be 18mm.,

    All mounts are 20mm unless stated otherwise as all rails are 20mm unless stated otherwise. Notable exceptions are MP5's (proprietary rails) and pistol rails (usually around 17mm depending on the model).

    The size quoted when looking at mount rings is the rings internal diameter. Usually 20mm, 25mm or 30mm. Often mounts will come with adaptor rubbers to adjust by 5mm the diameter, though not always. If they do, it will state this and means you can sometimes get a ring a size bigger than what you need or fit a scope a size smaller in the future,
